Because of the nature of blogging, I’m worried that new readers *waves might wonder if I ever actually show any pictures of my actual house. You know, like rooms and interiors shots and stuff?
So I thought I would do a quick blog post which is just pics. Pics of where we started (like the one above) and pics of where we are now. A whistle stop tour as it were.
So there you have it. Still quite a few rooms to go… And a few new visitors. And the Olympics. Yep we’re just a little way into 2012. Keeping up?
Thanks for that! There were quite a few gorgeous rooms that I hadn’t seen yet. 🙂
Looking forward to more…
Great to see all the rooms together. Carole
Thanks for the recap and the insight into an evolving transformation. I came here via a post at Farrow & Ball’s Inspiration gallery – where else would a F & B obsessive be after reading the latest Living Etc? Your ongoing renovation and decoration is lovely. Ikea kitchen and furnishings; Laura Ashley; colors of mid century and chic French toile – all meld beautifully. I then recognized you from BINTM! Great confluence. All the best!!
John I only just read your post all the way to the end! So glad you like the blog AND watch BINTM!!
Oh, wow. That’s just about all I can muster right now. Wow, beautiful.
Thanks love your blog too x

Great pics. I love the bathroom – the mix of simplistic elegance with white tiles and bath suite against the rustic unit and accentuated with the gold additions – stunning. The four poster in master bedroom is a fab feature. I like how its not over the top and imposing, its a strong statement without taking over the room. Adore the front doors :O)
Thank you so much for lovely comment. Xx
